VISITOR ATTRACTIONS - ISLE OF WIGHT

HOW THE ATTRACTIONS ARE LISTED

The various places to visit on the Isle of Wight are listed by type and by area so that readers can view what is nearby in each area or select the attractions they are interested in and find the corresponding area. There is also a list of free and indoor attractions.

The Isle of Wight is not very big, it is only 27 miles across at its widest point and 14 miles from north to south. A car makes it very easy to get to everywhere on the island and not at the mercy of timetables and the elements. The public transport network is excellent with regular buses to all main towns on the island. There are frequent bus stops on all the routes.
